Our goals are to share knowledge, present new technologies, network and have fun. We welcome everyone from database administrators and developers to business intelligence professionals and students.

In this session you will learn about the enhancement to the Microsoft BI platform in SQL Server 2016, and what’s coming in vNext. You will learn about the ability to integrate SQL Server Reporting Services with Power BI, Mobile Reporting and SSRS, and changes to Analysis Services tabular. You will also learn about how you integrate R analytics into your business intelligence solutions and reports. Additionally, you will hear about some licensing changes in SQL Server 2016 SP1 (and forward) that can turbocharge your data warehouse.

He is a Principal Consultant for Denny Cherry & Associates and lives in Malvern, PA. He is a frequent speaker at major tech events like Microsoft Ignite, PASS Summit, and Enterprise Data World. He blogs about all topics technology at He believes that no single platform is the answer to all technology problems. He holds a BS in Computer Information Systems from Louisiana Tech University and an MBA from North Carolina State University, and is the co-author of the Microsoft book "Introducing SQL Server 2016”.
